Eduardo Antonio, famously known as El Divo de Placetas, has announced a grand birthday celebration set for Wednesday, December 9, at the Flamingo Theater Bar in Miami. In a direct message to his followers, he said, "We're having a spectacular party this December 9 celebrating El Divo's birthday. Tickets are available now!"
The announcement was made via his Instagram account, accompanied by a striking red-themed flyer featuring stage lighting effects and confetti. The artist himself is pictured wearing a satin red suit. The event will kick off at 8:00 PM at 905 Brickell Bay Drive, and the dress code is clear: formal and red attire.
The event page teasingly asks, "How old will he be?"—a nod to Eduardo Antonio’s penchant for keeping his age under wraps while maintaining a youthful spirit and appearance.
Tickets are on sale now through the website or by calling 786 803 8194.
The Flamingo Theater Bar has been a favorite venue for the artist's major celebrations in Miami. In August 2025, his 50th anniversary gala sold out entirely, and he celebrated his birthday there in December that same year, surrounded by family and fans.
The announcement comes during a period of significant exposure for the singer. Earlier this year, he participated in the sixth season of Telemundo's La Casa de los Famosos, where he stayed for about 77 days before being eliminated.
Just days before this announcement, on October 28, he was honored with the "Special Recognition for Latin Excellence" at the Hispanic Celebrities Awards 2026, held at the EB Hotel in Miami. The artist dedicated the award to his husband and producer Roy García and his late mother, noting it was his third award in this competition.
Additionally, he has been nominated for the Miami Icon Awards 2026, a prize he hopes to secure with the help of his fans who are eagerly voting.
