Eduardo Antonio, known as "El Divo de Placetas", proved on Saturday that even on the softball field, his shine remains untarnished. He attended a friendly softball game in Miami dressed to impress, sporting a sequined shirt and shorts, turquoise knee-high socks, oversized white sunglasses, and a matching cap, capturing everyone's attention with his dazzling appearance.
The event, which was showcased on several reels from his Instagram account, was a friendly match between "Las Estrellas" from the Flamingo Theater Bar and the Big Five Club, held at the latter's facilities located at 600 SW 92nd Ave, Miami.
El Divo took on the role of catcher and, true to his unique style, opted out of the team's standard blue and white uniform, instead choosing another eye-catching ensemble.
His grand entrance was documented in a video where he arrived in a golf cart, reminiscent of a star making a triumphant entrance at a major event.
A group photo concluded the social media posts: in it, El Divo stood out visually among the uniformed players, appearing more like the star of a music video than a participant in a softball game.
"Las Estrellas" lineup featured a diverse group of Cuban artists residing in Miami, including Lenier, Fixty Ordara, Un Titico, Baby Lores, Alex Duvall, Divan, Pututi, Nesty, Randy Malcom, Charly, Kamell, and Landy La Farándula, among others.
This friendly match took place just days after El Divo graced the blue carpet at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, wearing an organza turban, satin white jacket, and pants.
A few days prior, he had appeared at the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina 2026 in an all-black leather ensemble, complete with a fringed cowboy hat and high boots, earning praise and a myriad of comparisons.
The artist, who hails from Placetas, Villa Clara, has a straightforward explanation for those curious about his unwavering commitment to aesthetics: "If there's no shine in my life, I'm not myself."
