This Thursday marks the beginning of the 2026-2027 season for Miami Beach's renowned Culture Crawl, offering free access to museums, galleries, concerts, and cultural tours from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The city will provide specially-branded trolleys at no cost to transport attendees between participating venues. This cultural initiative will continue every third Thursday of the month through July 2027.
An event of particular interest to the Spanish-speaking community is the Spanish-language Art Deco architectural tour, organized by the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL). This tour serves as a culmination of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated in the United States from September 15 to October 15.
The tour starts at 6:00 p.m. from the Art Deco Welcome Center, located at 1001 Ocean Drive, and lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours. It is held rain or shine, with participants encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Although participation is free, pre-registration is required through Eventbrite. It is advisable to check availability before attending, as the capacity has not been confirmed.
Another notable venue is the Wolfsonian–FIU at 1001 Washington Avenue. Visitors can explore the new Knight Labs—interactive digital exhibits on the third and fourth floors—and join hourly guided tours of the "Foot Notes: Shoes, Symbolism, and Society" exhibition starting at 6:15 p.m.
The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, located at 1933-1945 Meridian Avenue, presents "Jews and the Middle Ages 1000-1500 A.D.", a multimedia lecture featuring clips from the films "Ivanhoe" and "The Merchant of Venice," from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
At SoundScape Park, 500 17th Street, the New World Symphony offers a free WALLCAST® at 7:00 p.m. featuring Gershwin's "An American in Paris," under the artistic direction of Stéphane Denève. The performance will be projected on a 7,000-square-foot screen and looped until 9:00 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, or picnics.
In North Beach, the Miami Beach Bandshell at 7275 Collins Avenue hosts Les Greene & The Swayzees, a six-member band blending rock, R&B, Motown, and 60s soul. The group was a top-five finalist in the 2026 NPR Tiny Desk Contest. The concert is free with prior registration.
The Lincoln Road Art Walk guides visitors through participating galleries from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., although some close at 8:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Moonlighter FabLab at 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue debuts Noah Gear's exhibit "A House That Holds the Weight of Small Things," complemented by refreshments and music from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner highlighted the program: "Every third Thursday, residents and visitors can hop on a free trolley and enjoy everything from world-class museums to live music under the stars, all at no cost. It's a celebration of the creativity that makes Miami Beach so special."
