Sports journalist Raúl Rodríguez reported on social media that due to logistical setbacks, the Cuban Volleyball Federation had to urgently negotiate a change in the tournament's schedule.
The Federation has confirmed discussions with the organizers and NORCECA officials, along with a formal request to the FIVB to move the opening match against the Dominican Republic from its original time of 1:30 p.m. to the last slot of the day, around 7:00 p.m.
If the adjustment is approved, the team will have several hours to travel from the airport, settle in, and partially recover before hitting the court.
