A Cuban content creator living in Uruguay with her partner recently shared a heartfelt moment on TikTok when they purchased their first car in the country: a used Toyota from the Canelón Chico dealership in Canelones.
Known as @lisdyps or "Green Eyes 2" on the platform, the young woman posted the video in late June, which quickly resonated with thousands of Cubans in the diaspora.
"We bought our first car in Uruguay, and while it might just be a vehicle for some, it means so much more to us," she expresses at the beginning of the clip.
