@anaimahome, a TikToker chronicling her daily life in Cuba, posted a video response after noticing that her cleaning vlog sparked a more intense reaction than anticipated.
"I posted a vlog where I clean the house, and it triggered all sorts of comments and more insults than I expected. Literally, people have said everything to me," she began in the 48-second clip.
Refusing to be intimidated, the creator from Viñales, Pinar Del Río, drew a distinction between what she considers legitimate and what she does not: "I know that when you share your life on social media, you are exposed to all kinds of opinions, and believe me, I am more than ready for criticism. But there's a big difference between having an opinion and hurling insults."
