This revelation came during their appearance on Alexander Otaola's show, days after Peachy made public a phone call the influencers had with him back in June.

Connecting remotely, Camila joined from London while Taty participated from Madrid. This marked the first occasion the Guiribiteys openly discussed the incident, which took the host by surprise and was met with appreciation.

The conflict traces back to June 13, when Peachy uploaded a video on YouTube that the influencers felt was biased against them. The following day, Taty and Camila reached out to him through a mutual friend in a 50-minute phone call.

Camila candidly explained their intention behind the call: "I believe the conversation was taken completely out of context. The call was about a video he posted, which we felt was one-sided. We reached out through a mutual friend with the hope that he would take the opportunity to get to know us."

Clarifying Misunderstandings

A sensitive point in Peachy's account was the mention of his immigration status, which he perceived as a veiled threat. The Guiribiteys firmly denied this interpretation. "Mami told him we wanted him to know us, to give himself the chance to understand us. We mentioned consulting our lawyers, aware of his irregular immigration status, but assured him our intention wasn't to cause trouble," Camila stressed, aiming to convey concern rather than pressure.

Otaola succinctly captured the essence of the misunderstanding with a direct question: "He felt that mentioning his immigration status was a threat, but you intended it as a cautionary note." The Guiribiteys confirmed this was their intent and hoped Peachy would see it as an empathetic gesture.

Regarding the so-called "little brochures"—fashion materials Peachy perceived as a bribery attempt—Camila clarified they were simply fashion catalogs offered for his trend videos, reflecting on her own beginnings as a content creator.

Camila also denied asking Peachy to delete his video. "Don't erase the video, that's your work, your income. I never asked him to take it down," she asserted. Instead, they requested moderation of the comments: "We asked if he could tone down the comments as they were becoming quite hurtful."
