While an official statement on the cause of death remains absent, several social media posts suggest that Frank Armando may have died in a car accident.

The news rapidly spread across platforms dedicated to urban music. The account Cogelosuavtv identified him as a producer and part of Ja Rulay's team, whereas the site Repa Chismes mentioned him as the artist's stepfather. These claims, however, have yet to be officially verified.

Among the condolences, a user known as BR shared a heartfelt message, emphasizing his close relationship with Frank Armando. "I can't believe this news. It's hard to accept you're gone. This tragic event adds to a year already marked by significant losses in the Cuban urban music scene. On May 8th, Bolito El Efi, a beloved figure, passed away following a car accident in Havana. Mere weeks later, reggaeton artist El Dizzy was fatally struck by a vehicle in Miami Beach at the age of 25.

According to the National Traffic Safety Commission, road accidents caused 750 deaths and over 6,700 injuries in Cuba in 2025, as reported in February 2026.

As of the latest update, Ja Rulay has not publicly commented on Frank Armando's death. The artist is currently navigating a new phase in his career after announcing the launch of his record label PHP (Peace, Humility, and Patience) and his departure from Planet Records.
