Thursday, July 2, 2026 by Isabella Sanchez

Cuban actress and comedian Zajaris Fernández marked her 42nd birthday surrounded by love, laughter, and her three cherished pets. She celebrated this milestone with a photo session and heartfelt messages shared across her social media platforms.

Leading up to her special day, Zajaris teased her fans with a post captioned "…almost 42," featuring images in which she donned a chic short red halter dress, gold hoop earrings, and a pearl necklace, all captured from the comfort of her home.

When the day finally arrived, the artist eagerly shared it with her followers. "Officially 42 Julys!!!!! Thank you life for this incredible journey," she expressed in one of her birthday reels, which was filled with her signature humor and antics.

In another video, Zajaris expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming affection from her community: "Thank you sooooo much life!!!!! For so much and so many things. I love you all, thank you for the well wishes and love." True to her playful nature, she jokingly swapped her age numbers, pretending to turn 24 instead of 42.

Perhaps the most endearing moment of the celebration was her post featuring her pets, where she appeared on her white sofa embracing her three dogs: Kuka, Mía, and Luna. "My girls!!!!!! Thank you for always being with me!!! Thanks to everyone for the love you show my four-legged daughters," she wrote, making her pets the true stars of the celebration.

Zajaris arrived in the United States in 2009 at just 24 years old, facing challenges that included working as a waitress and sleeping in her car. In Cuba, she had built a television career with shows like "Alegrías de Sobremesa" and "¿Jura decir la verdad?", and starred in the feature film "Los aretes que le faltan a la luna."

In Miami, she resumed her artistic career and became a beloved figure within the Cuban exile community. This year has also been personally significant: in April, she celebrated 17 years of living in the United States with a message about freedom being her greatest achievement, and in 2024, she purchased her first home in Florida, a milestone she publicly celebrated on social media.

Zajaris' 42nd year was marked by humor, gratitude, and the unwavering company of Kuka, Mía, and Luna, her three loyal pets who are always by her side.
