Daniel Rodríguez, a Cuban percussionist and arranger known on social media as "Dani Cuba," is credited on the official release of "Lo Arriesgo Todo," the Spanish rendition of Bruno Mars' "Risk It All," which debuted on May 8.
Hailing from Bayamo in Granma Province, Rodríguez is listed on Spotify alongside Enrique Sánchez and Juan Carlos Cosme as the arrangers for the Spanish adaptation of the lyrics, while Larry Gold is noted as the string arranger.
This isn't the first time the Cuban musician has contributed to this project. Earlier, on February 27, 2026, he recorded percussion for the entire album "The Romantic," Bruno Mars' fourth solo record and his first in nearly a decade since "24K Magic."
Upon his involvement in the Spanish version being revealed, Rodríguez expressed his excitement on Instagram with a sentiment that captures the moment's significance: "Dreams do come true."
"The Spanish version is out... and I still can't find the words to express all I feel. Being part of this song alongside such talented people means so much to me. Some songs touch the heart... and this one touched my soul from the very first time," the musician wrote.
In the same post, he extended his gratitude to his father and Bruno Mars: "Thanks to God and my dad for always guiding me. And thank you to Bruno Mars for trusting me."
When the original album was released in February, Rodríguez had already shared the personal significance of this achievement: "It's crazy, but it's true, a dreamer boy from Bayamo brought here by music."
"Being able to leave a piece of Cuba in this album fills me with pride," he added, also thanking guitarist Chris Payton and the rest of the musicians involved in the process.
"Lo Arriesgo Todo" blends Latin pop, bolero, R&B, and soul with mariachi influences, and its cover art evokes the aesthetics of 1970s and 80s Latin American romantic music: Bruno Mars dressed in white with a cowboy hat, bolo tie, and acoustic guitar.
The album's stylistic direction, exploring genres like bolero, cha-cha-chá, and salsa, underscores the inclusion of musicians with Latin roots in the project and the decision to release a Spanish version just weeks after the original album.
