Angelina Castro's Italian Adventure: A Tale of Travel Mishaps

Thursday, April 16, 2026 by Christopher Ramirez

Angelina Castro has returned from her trip to Italy with a story she quickly shared with her fans: she embarked on the journey with an expired credit card, spent $221 on an Uber ride upon arrival, and realized the cash she had wasn't favorable due to exchange rates.

The Cuban-American content creator shared a humorous video on her TikTok account yesterday, dubbing the incident "the stupidity of the world."

"I planned the trip to Italy with just two days' notice. I called my friend and said, I'm coming. She said, come on over," Castro recounted, highlighting the spontaneity of her travel plans.

The first shock came when she landed at the Italian airport: "I had to take an Uber that cost me two hundred and twenty-one dollars to my friend's house because she lives near Milan, but I had to land at an airport far from there."

During that expensive ride, Castro realized the main issue: "Upon arrival, I discovered through the Uber transaction that the only card I brought to Italy was expired since July 2025."

Fortunately, Castro had an alternative: a thousand dollars in cash. Yet, the unfavorable exchange rate was a drawback. "I had brought a thousand dollars in cash, but the exchange gave me like fifty-something, sixty euros, and it wasn't worth it," she explained.

Castro emphasized to her followers the importance of a credit card when traveling abroad: "A credit card is what people use when they go outside the United States because otherwise, the exchange becomes very costly."

The resolution came through Italian technology: "Italy, being so advanced, allows you to pay for everything with your phone," she noted, referring to mobile wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay, which are widely accepted in the country.

The video, lasting one minute and 29 seconds, was posted from her @angelinacastroshop account and sparked numerous reactions from her audience.

A Glimpse into Angelina Castro's Life

Angelina Castro, whose real name is Francys Delia Valdes, was born in Havana in 1982 and moved to Miami at the age of 12. In recent years, she has expanded her public persona beyond adult entertainment, becoming a mentor for content creators on OnlyFans. Her mentorship has led to successes like the Cuban influencer "La Mariposa," who earned $200,000 in 24 hours, and singer Seidy La Niña, who raised nearly $20,000 within her first 25 hours on the platform.

"Now that I'm back from Italy, I'm ready to share the tale of the stupidity of the world," was how Castro began her story, making it clear that despite the unexpected challenges, the trip ended as an amusing anecdote.
