The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, Dariel Fernández, has taken a firm stance against Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, challenging the regime's moral authority to speak on issues of peace following the U.S. and Israel's recent actions concerning Iran.

"Bruno, the socialist and communist dictatorship in Cuba lacks any moral authority to discuss peace, sovereignty, or international law. This is the same regime that murders its own people, imprisons dissidents, collaborates with the terrorist state of Iran, and spreads chaos across our hemisphere," Fernández stated on X.

Fernández further emphasized, "Cuba defends Iran because tyrants protect one another. The actions by the United States and Israel were to halt a nuclear threat and safeguard innocent lives. We stand for freedom, we stand with Israel, and we will never accept lessons from a regime built on deceit, oppression, and terror."

These comments were made in response to Rodríguez Parrilla's statements on a day marked by bombings that could potentially end with the confirmation of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's death.

On his official Facebook profile, Rodríguez Parrilla declared, "Cuba condemns the attacks carried out this morning, February 28, by Israel and the United States against Iran, violating its sovereignty and territorial integrity, occurring for the second time amid ongoing nuclear discussions."

Rodríguez described these actions as "irresponsible" and asserted that they "undermine international peace and security and constitute a blatant violation of International Law and the UN Charter." He also called for the "international community to mobilize immediately to halt this treacherous aggression."
