Following the conclusion of this Friday's prime-time news, Cuban Television will air a special episode of the program "Razones de Cuba" to provide detailed information regarding the shooting incident involving a Florida-registered speedboat near Cuban shores.

The broadcast will be available on Cubavisión, Cubavisión Internacional, and Canal Caribe, as well as on Radio Rebelde and Radio Habana Cuba.

Featured guests during the program will include the Chief of Staff of the Border Patrol Troops Directorate, the Head of Medical Services from the Ministry of the Interior, the Deputy Chief of the specialized body handling Crimes Against State Security, and the Chief Prosecutor from the Directorate of the Attorney General's Office.

In essence, the regime is deploying top officials from its repressive bodies to explain an incident that some argue has been addressed rather quietly by both governments involved.

The official announcement states that the goal is to provide more comprehensive information to both the national and international public concerning the attempted infiltration of the vessel into national territory.

On Thursday, the Cuban regime revealed the identities of ten individuals allegedly involved in an attempted armed infiltration from the United States to the island, using a Florida-registered boat.

According to statements published by the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex), Deputy Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío identified the participants as Cristian Ernesto Acosta Guevara, Conrado Galindo Serrior, José Manuel Rodríguez Castelló, Leordán Cruz Gómez, Amijail Sánchez González, and Roberto Álvarez Ávila.

The list is completed by Pavel Alling Peña, Michael Ortega Casanova, Ledián Padrón Guevara, and Héctor Duani Cruz Correa, the latter four having died in the confrontation.
