Cuban Artist Captivates Social Media with Unique French Singing Voice

Thursday, February 12, 2026 by Henry Cruz

A self-taught young Cuban musician, known online as @enyerproduce, has carved out a niche by singing in French—a rare choice on the island that has earned him thousands of fans both locally and internationally.

Living in Guantánamo, the artist shared in a recent post how it all started “one morning around three a.m.” when inspiration struck in his studio. “At that time, my singing career wasn't clearly defined, but I knew one thing for sure: I needed to sit and let my heart express itself,” he recounted.

This burst of creativity resulted in the song Nous avons fait l’amour, which he recorded spontaneously and released with a music video the very next day.

He notes that the track quickly gained traction among listeners in France, other parts of Europe, Canada, Spain, Brazil, the United States, and numerous countries across Latin America and Africa.

For a Guantánamo artist to embrace the French language isn't entirely unexpected. In eastern Cuba, particularly in Guantánamo and Santiago de Cuba, there is a significant influence from Haitian Creole due to historical migrations. Provinces like Cienfuegos and Holguín also retain traces of French heritage.

In a recent interview, Enyer Produce admitted that his French pronunciation might not be flawless, yet he feels confident enough to engage in face-to-face conversations with any of his followers.

“This is just the beginning,” the singer asserts, convinced that his music can continue to transcend boundaries and connect cultures.
