The mother of Doraiky Águila Vázquez has issued a desperate plea to locate her daughter, who vanished on March 15 in the Lawton area of Havana's Diez de Octubre municipality.
Through Facebook posts, she urged the public to "search everywhere"—from streets to farmlands and cities—emphasizing that "every detail matters."
In several heartfelt messages, Maura Vázquez appealed for assistance and the solidarity of the community: "My dear daughter, we are searching for you and we will find you... your family and an entire community are looking for you," she wrote, expressing an ongoing plea for Doraiky's return. Her absence is particularly painful for her teenage children, who "miss her dearly."
The mother emphasized that her sole wish is to find her daughter and pleaded that anyone who might have her, return her: "We aren't here to judge, we just want Doraiky," she asserted, highlighting the urgent need for her daughter to come back "safely" to her home and be with her family to "improve her health."
Her messages included religious supplications—calling on angels and Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre—to provide protection, guidance, and to "break any chains" so Doraiky can be found.
According to family reports, Doraiky suffers from transient memory loss, adding to the urgency of her search.
Her physical description includes gray hair, olive skin, and large brown eyes. She is approximately 1.68 meters tall and weighs 65 kilograms. A distinctive mark on her right ankle serves as an identifying feature. At the time she left home, she was wearing a long yellow dress with red or pink flowers at the bottom and black and red sandals; she was last seen near the Calzada de Diez de Octubre.
The family has reported her disappearance to the police under registration number 19434.

Alternatively, they ask that information be reported directly to the police.
Since the day of her disappearance, alerts have circulated on social media, with independent platforms Yo Sí Te Creo Cuba (YSTCC) and Alas Tensas (OGAT) joining the search.
In September, there were warnings that Doraiky might be a victim of a deceptive abduction.
Neighbors and activists have called for a community-focused search strategy, urging residents to confirm her absence from their neighborhoods to broaden the community's outreach.
Her vulnerability, coupled with her undocumented status, raises fears that someone with ill intentions could be holding her under false pretenses.
This case is part of a growing phenomenon on the island, where families turn to social networks and community outreach due to the lack of effective official channels for raising awareness and coordinating searches for missing individuals.
