Fellow artist Mariela López Galano took to social media to make an urgent plea for assistance, emphasizing the need to secure the necessary medical care for Martínez.
"We are urgently seeking a blood donation for Iyaima Martínez Navarro; her blood type is B+, but she can also receive O+ and B- donations. She is scheduled for surgery on Monday at Ameijeiras," López Galano shared on Facebook, providing contact information to coordinate the aid.

Back then, actor Hamlet Paredes Grau highlighted the severity of her condition, prompting requests for painkillers like tramadol and other essential medications, along with any aid that could facilitate her treatment.
