A family in Holguín, Cuba, experienced a life-changing moment when content creator Arteshada gifted them with a brand-new television—their first ever.
“They used to watch the novela at their neighbor's house, but thanks to Leidy, that's no longer necessary,” the young woman shared in an Instagram video that captured the family’s heartfelt reaction to the gift.
The television was donated by Leidy (@1002leidy_laura), a follower of the influencer, who decided to purchase it after learning about the struggles of Teresa and her family. Living in vulnerable conditions, Teresa's household had never owned such a device. In the video, Arteshada is seen entering their modest home, interacting with the family, and assisting them in setting up the TV and its stand.
“We’re giving a television to Teresa and her family... They’ve never owned one in their lives,” Arteshada explained at the start of the video, where she also mentioned Teresa's illness, which left her bedridden.
To enhance the surprise, the young creator included a set-top box and a USB drive loaded with movies and novelas until they can acquire the coaxial cable needed for receiving national channels.
