A fierce blaze has left a couple in ruins in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, destroying their home and leaving them with nothing. Yureibys Torresilla, an online user with a local aid project, shared images of the distressed couple standing amidst the rubble where their home once stood.

The couple, José Rafael Pérez and his wife Leidy Sierra, resided in the rural area known as Ampliación de la Ford. According to Torresilla, the most heartbreaking aspect of this tragedy is that they had gone out for a family outing. Upon their return, they found their home completely obliterated by the fire.

"You can reach out to this gentleman via phone at 54130748. Contact him on behalf of our group! Your help is needed," stated Torresilla on the Facebook group "AQUÍ CON EL HÉROE EN SANCTI SPÍRITUS Y EN TODA CUBA, SOLIDARIDAD!"

"We are initiating a relief effort. They are in dire need of clothing and food... Any food donations, please get in touch with me, Yanalli González, or Nely Valdés," she added.
