Young Cuban Woman in Miami Desperately Needs Assistance

Friday, February 14, 2025 by Elizabeth Alvarado

A 23-year-old Cuban woman, struggling on the streets of Miami, is in dire need of assistance to escape her current situation. Loretta Pérez, originally from Camagüey, has been homeless for eight years after falling into drug addiction.

A TikTok user known as Conducta, who highlights stories of those without shelter and offers them aid, discovered Loretta sleeping on a sidewalk wrapped in a sheet. After gifting her a dress, shoes, pizza, and water, he persuaded her to go to a safe place the next day where she could bathe and change into clean clothes. She admitted to him that she was using crack cocaine.

"This is an urgent call," the video’s creator implored. "If anyone recognizes her, whether family, friends, or acquaintances, please contact us privately." He emphasized, "This young woman cannot continue like this; she's in danger, vulnerable, and exposed to the worst. She needs immediate help. Let's not leave her alone!"
