A 22-year-old employee of the Dr. Joaquín Castillo Duany Military Hospital in Santiago de Cuba has been missing for a full week. The young woman, named Elsa Mercedes Savigne Bell, is the mother of a little girl. According to her sister, who goes by the name Piel Canela Morales on Facebook, their mother last spoke with Elsa on Saturday. Elsa mentioned she was in San Luis municipality, waiting for a ride to return home. "Since then, there's been no news from her, and her phone remains off," her sister noted.

Additional information was shared in the Facebook group "360 Santiago de Cuba compra y venta" by a user identified as Judith de Hashem. According to Judith, Elsa Mercedes resides in building 1, apartment 4, within the La Barca de Oro neighborhood in the José Martí district. "Her mother is in desperation, not knowing where to search, as no one has any information on her whereabouts and her phone is unreachable," Judith explained. She implored, "Please call 53950750 if you have any information."
