The Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) in Las Tunas has released information regarding the tragic deaths of two brothers in the Jesús Menéndez municipality. These events took place between February 10 and February 13.

According to an official statement, on the morning of Thursday, February 13, the body of 15-year-old Yunieski Guerra Caballero was discovered along the banks of the Cuatro Caminos River. The young man, who lived in the Cuatro Caminos community in the Popular Council of San Agustín, had been missing since Monday, February 10, following his attendance at a local festive event.

Earlier, on Wednesday, February 12, his older brother, 21-year-old Augusto Guerra Caballero, was found hanged in his home. The MININT reported that both brothers were present at the same event prior to the tragic incidents.

Authorities have stated that investigations into the cases are ongoing, and the public will be kept informed as further details emerge. "Incidents like these deeply affect the entire community, especially when they involve young individuals," the MININT expressed in their official statement.
