"I was genuinely worried because there's so much misinformation about Cuba and all of this," she expressed in her testimonial. However, she clarified that she encountered no issues with her immigration status upon re-entry. "With my residency, I didn't have to seek asylum. I entered through the border, received a 60-day parole, and later applied under the Cuban Adjustment Act after a year and a day," she explained.
She further specified that her residency category is CU6, indicating that her legal status is not linked to asylum. "When I went through immigration in Miami, they didn't ask me any questions. I was asked for my passport and directed to a small room, but even there, I wasn't questioned. An officer called me through a door and told me to leave," she described.
