The Cuban influencer, Flor de Cuba, recently gave her followers a tour of her newly furnished apartment in Louisville, Kentucky, revealing the monthly rent she pays. Through a video shared on her social media platforms, she displayed the organized spaces, highlighting the arrangement of furniture in the living room, dining area, kitchen, and her bedroom.

Flor emphasized that her one-bedroom apartment is both spacious and functional, featuring a roomy kitchen, ample storage closets, and a fully equipped laundry area. She also pointed out decorative elements while noting she still plans to add her personal touch. At the end of the video, she reiterated that her rent is $1,229 per month, underscoring how this is significantly more affordable compared to Miami for the amount of space she has. "In Miami, an efficiency the size of my bedroom would cost between $1,500 and $1,600," she mentioned.

Her followers quickly responded, agreeing that rental prices in Kentucky are much more reasonable compared to cities like Miami and California. "For that price, you won't find anything like this in Miami. I pay $1,900 for a room plus utilities," one user commented. Others shared their experiences, noting that they also live in the same apartment complex. "I used to live there, in a two-bedroom with a study, and paid $1,550. They are very nice, without a doubt," another follower expressed.

This video follows weeks after Flor celebrated her first approved rental in the United States on social media, a milestone she described as crucial in her adjustment process. In her initial video on the subject, she showcased the empty apartment, explaining that up until then, she had been living with a family member in Kentucky. Now, with her space fully furnished, she feels increasingly settled and comfortable in her new home.

In just a few months in the United States, Flor has managed to establish herself with her partner, rent her own apartment, and purchase her first vehicle, achievements she has shared with her audience. Her journey continues to inspire many, especially those seeking to build a new life outside of Cuba.
