The victim, a young woman in her 20s of Venezuelan descent, was transported in critical condition to Kendall Regional Hospital, as reported by local media.

Details about the attacker's nationality have not been disclosed. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and confirmed that the victim was also employed at the restaurant. Preliminary reports indicate that a second co-owner witnessed the incident.

In statements to the local press, Doral Police Chief Edwin López described the scene as harrowing. "The victim had multiple stab wounds on her body, while the assailant was found dead at the scene," he stated. Although the mall was not evacuated, the news left employees and visitors in shock.

Detective Luis Sierra, spokesperson for the Miami-Dade police, urged the community to seek help in situations of domestic violence.
