A Cuban woman, known as @YaiCubaBrasil, had no intention of staying silent when faced with a critical remark on one of her videos: "You've been in Brazil for so long, and now you finally have a car?" In a straightforward manner, she replied, "Well, breaking news, my dear, yes, I have a car after two years in this country. But let me explain something to you, just because I want to, not because I owe anyone an explanation."
She elaborated that she has been residing in Brazil for two years, where she is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Her demanding schedule doesn't allow her the luxury of holding a steady job. "I spent a year alone in this country, managing with only enough money for my monthly expenses because I couldn't have a permanent job. I worked on a day-to-day basis whenever I could, whenever I had some free time."
The situation improved significantly once her husband joined her in Brazil. "After a year of being here by myself under those circumstances, my husband arrived. He started working as a designer; we launched a design business that has been successful, thank God, and everything began to improve greatly. It was ten months after my husband arrived in Brazil that we bought the car."
To those who criticize, she made her stance clear: "There are people who have been here much longer than we have and still don't even own a bicycle. And, well, that's due to individual circumstances and their economic situation, something I don't criticize. But then there are people like you who involve themselves in others' lives for no reason, perhaps out of envy, I don't know why, because such comments are not constructive. But it doesn't matter to me, hehe, kisses."
She concluded her remarks with a thought-provoking reflection: "Everyone has their own pace and time. God's timing is perfect."
