Colombian Woman Embraces Her Inner Cuban Spirit When Listening to Reparto

Wednesday, January 22, 2025 by Robert Castillo

Eliana Uribe, known by her TikTok handle @eli_u22, has made it abundantly clear just how much she revels in the Cuban music genre known as reparto. This Colombian woman, who is romantically involved with a Cuban, posted a video elaborating on what this style of music means to her. "Reparto isn't just music; it's an energy, a vibe, a swagger," she passionately states, emphasizing that it resonates deeply within her soul.

With laughter and animated hand gestures that mimic those at a lively party, Eliana admits, "When they play reparto, I transform, like my inner +53 comes out." She humorously warns those who don't appreciate the genre, saying, "Honey, don't tell me you don't like reparto, because boom, I'll hit you with a Kevincito and head to a Charly & Johayron concert."

Her followers were quick to respond, particularly highlighting her use of "+53," the international dialing code for Cuba. Comments included, "That was amazing, haha, so funny," "You're a true Cuban, reparto is the best," and "Great vibes, let me recommend more songs for you." Some even advised her to explore classic tracks from the genre: "Listen to Elvis Manuel, Chocolate MC, or El Taiger, you can't miss them."

Eliana has previously shown in other videos that reparto is part of her everyday life. From singing songs by Dany Ome and Kevincito to claiming she's become "more into reparto" than her Cuban boyfriend, this Colombian woman is firmly committed to the genre. As she requests at the end of her video, "Leave me some songs I need to learn because I love it."
