Lenier Mesa and Jacob Forever have yet to resolve the tensions that have persisted between them for some time. In a recent interview with influencer Un Martí To Durako, the Cuban songwriter made it crystal clear that he has no plans to collaborate musically with El Inmortal. When asked about the possibility of a future collaboration, Lenier's response was unequivocal: “None for now.”
However, Lenier mentioned that if there were a financial incentive involved, he might consider it, as it would simply be work: “If he pays me to do a track with him, of course, I'll do it. This is a business.” The artist jokingly suggested that Jacob doesn't have enough "cash" to afford a collaboration with him.
When Un Martí inquired if Lenier would ever initiate a collaboration himself, the answer was again firm: “No, I'm focused on other projects now. I'm not looking to record with Jacob or any of those people. I'm involved in other music projects.”
Lenier reiterated that he has no communication or relationship with Jacob Forever, Osmani García, or El Chacal, adding, “I don’t talk to those guys, so how am I going to record with them?” The singer and composer emphasized that he has a closed circle of friends and prefers to keep it that way.
