Yomil Applauds Upcoming Bebeshito and Tekashi Collaboration: "They're Not Playing Around"

Saturday, January 11, 2025 by James Rodriguez

Cuban reggaeton artist Yomil Hidalgo expressed his excitement over the anticipated collaboration between Oniel Bebeshito and New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. Through his social media, Yomil shared a snapshot of a video call with Bebeshito, Tekashi, and Lenier Mesa, who previously worked together on the hit "Papita Frita."

Currently in Cuba, Yomil expressed his pride in this group of artists and emphasized their commitment to elevating Cuba's name on the global music stage. "All I know is that this crew isn't playing and they're ready to raise the Cuban flag high," he wrote alongside the image.

The artist also tagged the key players in the project, including Mauro El Código Secreto, the producer who is part of the creative team behind these collaborations. "Amazing work @lenieroficial @6ix9ine @onielbebeshito @mauroelcodigosecreto. Very proud of you all," Yomil added.

Yomil's enthusiastic response comes at a time when Bebeshito and Tekashi have stirred excitement among fans with teasers of their new track, which promises to be a "classic reggaeton." According to Bebeshito, the release will depend on the song going viral, a strategy that previously succeeded with their track "Papita Frita," which has over 11 million views on YouTube.

As fans speculate about a potential visit from Tekashi or another reunion of these artists, anticipation continues to mount. Meanwhile, Yomil has made it clear that the team is poised to continue making waves in the international reggaeton scene.

This show of support from Yomil comes months after his visa application to the United States was denied. Nonetheless, the artist is reportedly exploring alternatives to make his trip possible. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Daniela Reyes, is currently in Miami. Could a reunion be on the horizon?
