A request for confidentiality was filed by Mireddys González regarding a lawsuit initiated by her husband, Daddy Yankee. However, a Puerto Rican judge has ruled that the proceedings will be broadcast live. Judge Anthony Cuevas Ramos granted the request from Puerto Rican media outlet El Vocero for a live transmission of the hearing scheduled for Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the San Juan Court, as well as any subsequent legal proceedings.

The motion from González's legal team argues that the evidence contains sensitive information, including business strategies, corporate income, and operational decisions. Disclosure of such details could undermine the financial stability of corporations and harm essential business relationships, according to El Vocero.

Her defense claims that making this information public could irreparably damage the reputation and professional growth of the entities involved, as well as jeopardize their corporate integrity and market competitiveness.

In contrast, Daddy Yankee's legal representatives insist that the case is of a corporate nature and pertains to the development of the plaintiff's artistic and professional career, suggesting no need for confidentiality. They assert that the plaintiff is willing to reveal the truth behind the controversy, especially since the scheduled hearing does not involve presenting evidence or testimonies. Additionally, the economic information of the entities is publicly available on the Department of State's website, emphasized attorney Carlos Díaz Olivo, who represents the reggaeton artist.

Last week, it was revealed that Daddy Yankee had filed a lawsuit against his wife, Mireddys González, and her sister, Ayeicha González, for allegedly attempting unauthorized transfers totaling $100 million from corporate bank accounts of El Cartel Records and Los Cangris to their personal accounts. Although the artist managed to halt the transfers, the lawsuit is ongoing.
