In a recent Instagram live session, Christian Nodal responded to comments made by his ex, Cazzu, who broke her silence on their breakup on her friend La Joaqui's podcast. Nodal addressed remarks made by the mother of his child, who claimed she was unaware of his relationship with Ángela Aguilar. Clearly uncomfortable and tense, the singer expressed his decision to publicly defend his current wife, denying that Ángela was responsible for his split with Cazzu.
Nodal explained that he had informed Cazzu, whose real name is Julieta, of his new relationship before the media caught wind of it. During the live session, Nodal appeared irritated while discussing Cazzu's account of how she learned about his new relationship while caring for their eight-month-old daughter. He firmly stated that in their story, "there are no victims," emphasizing that he had been transparent about the breakup and everything was discussed "face to face."
Throughout his message, Nodal stressed that he was never unfaithful and always kept Cazzu informed of his intentions. He recounted how, after ending their relationship, he asked Julieta to release a statement to clarify the situation before he and Ángela went public, asserting that Cazzu was notified and text messages support his narrative. Even though Cazzu never directly mentioned Ángela or implied infidelity, Nodal felt compelled to clarify that his current wife was not "the other woman" and defended the integrity of his marriage.
"Suggesting that I was with my wife during my previous relationship is very serious and unpleasant," Nodal declared at one point during the live stream. As the session concluded, Nodal spoke protectively of Ángela Aguilar, expressing his deep love for her and stating, "Ángela and I love each other, we decided to get married, we chose to be together."
"No one will speak about my wife like that; she is not a mistress," he asserted.
