As of Monday morning, over 4.5 million Floridians have already cast their ballots through early voting, according to the latest state statistics. Data released by Florida's Division of Elections tracks participation in both early voting and mail-in ballots. The opportunity for early voting in the state will conclude on Sunday, November 3.

Details from the report show that by the morning of October 28, a total of 2,090,695 mail-in ballots and 2,508,344 early voting ballots had been submitted. Among those who voted, 2,066,547 were Republicans, 1,565,472 were Democrats, 868,958 were non-affiliated voters, and 98,062 belonged to other parties.

South Florida's Active Participation

In the southern regions of Florida, voters have also been actively participating through early and mail-in voting. As of Monday morning, unofficial figures in Miami-Dade County showed a turnout of 465,854 voters. This included 279,466 who voted early and 183,866 who voted by mail, according to the county's election supervisor.

Breaking it down by party affiliation, Miami-Dade had 185,881 ballots from Republicans, 158,803 from Democrats, 113,055 from independents, and 8,115 from other party voters.

In Broward County, unofficial participation numbers reached 369,909 voters. This comprised 194,602 early votes and 173,553 mail-in votes, as reported by the county's Supervisor of Elections. Here, Democrats cast 185,380 ballots, compared to 97,387 by Republicans, 80,216 by independents, and 6,926 by other party voters.
