Teresa Padrón, the manager of the late Cuban urban music artist El Taiger, remains a crucial figure for the singer's family during these challenging times. Since the tragic incident when El Taiger was admitted to Miami's Jackson Hospital after being shot in the head, Padrón has been at the forefront, managing everything related to his hospitalization and subsequent funeral arrangements.
Padrón recently traveled to Cuba to extend her support to one of El Taiger's daughters living on the island, as well as the singer's grandmother. In a heartfelt tribute held in Capdevila, the neighborhood in Boyeros where El Taiger grew up, Padrón stood by the young girl. Together with the local community, they celebrated El Taiger’s life by listening to his music and recalling the joy he brought to those around him.
A Farewell to El Taiger
Last Friday, Teresa joined the grandmother and one of El Taiger's daughters at a farewell ceremony at the El Sauce Cultural Center. This event provided an opportunity for friends and family to say their final goodbyes to the beloved reggaeton artist. The singer's daughter and grandmother were comforted by numerous attendees, including his cousin, Jorge Junior, who also participated in the touching gathering.
In a poignant moment, Teresa Padrón, who held El Taiger's ashes, walked hand in hand with the young girl during the procession to the Cementerio de Colón. There, they laid the artist's remains to rest, marking the end of an emotional journey for the family and their supporters.
