The Cuban boxer Robeisy Ramírez is exuding confidence as he gears up for his highly anticipated rematch against Mexico's Rafael "Divino" Espinoza. Espinoza previously snatched the World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight title from Ramírez. Determined to reclaim his championship on December 7th in Arizona, Ramírez (14-2, 9 KOs) took to Facebook, sharing his excitement and a series of photos with the caption, "One week closer to reclaiming my world title."

Known as "El Tren," Ramírez, an Olympic gold medalist from the 2012 London and 2016 Rio games, has been rigorously preparing for the upcoming bout. His social media presence reflects his focus and determination, showcasing his readiness and energy.

In their previous encounter in December 2023, the fighter from Cienfuegos lost his world title to Espinoza (25-0, 21 KOs) despite pushing the Mexican to the brink of a knockout. However, Espinoza managed to recover as the bell rang, ultimately securing a victory through the judges' scorecards. While one judge scored the fight a draw (113-113), the other two judges awarded Espinoza the win with scores of 115-111 and 114-112.

Ramírez now seeks redemption. This rematch is not just a chance to regain his title but also an opportunity to cement his status as one of the leading boxers in his weight class and among the new wave of professional fighters emerging from Cuba.
