A woman from Cuba took to TikTok to express her sorrow over the passing of El Taiger, a key figure in Cuban urban music. Through her account, Diana Sin Dr. (@diana_sindra) shared her thoughts on how the event has impacted her and others. "I've been feeling overwhelmed and deeply moved by what happened to El Taiger," she started in her video. "I've asked myself why this is affecting me so much. It's because it's the topic on social media; that's what everyone is discussing. Remember, everything we consume online influences and reaches us," she continued.

To Diana, El Taiger symbolized more than just an artist: "He represents a youth, a history, and a part of our life." She reflected on her feelings and the lessons she has drawn from recent events. The young woman emphasized the need for greater empathy, especially towards public figures and artists. "Let's stop justifying wrongdoing and assuming that just because they are public figures or artists, we have the right to pressure them and speak on matters we don't understand. People need to stop. We have no idea what that person is going through," she pondered.

Her message also highlighted the importance of authenticity and taking time for self-reflection: "Be yourself. Characters fall, sooner or later. We go through phases, both good and bad, but we must allow time for introspection." She referenced an interview with El Taiger where he stated, "Serving you as a tool was always my commitment," emphasizing that life lessons often come with mistakes and losing loved ones. "A lot of wisdom comes after making mistakes, losing people we care about, or doing things wrong. So, don't be too hard on yourself," she advised.

The Cuban singer, José Manuel Carbajal, known as El Taiger, tragically passed away on October 10th at the age of 37 in Miami, a week after being shot in the head. His death has been a significant loss for Cuban music, and thousands of fans mourn his passing.
