A large assembly of pregnant women and mothers with young children gathered for the fourth Sunday service at the San Juan Methodist Church in Santiago de Cuba, expressing gratitude to God for the blessings of their pregnancies.
Pastor Darlon Bermúdez, who leads the congregation, highlighted the event on Facebook, which took place in the afternoon. "Numerous pregnant women attended our fourth Sunday service to thank God for the fruit of their wombs," he noted.
Photos from the event reveal a significant turnout of women, some carrying children, converging at the church located in the heart of Santiago de Cuba. Earlier, the pastor had taken to social media to announce the "service dedicated to God to pray for their childbirth and anoint them with oil," emphasizing it as a plea for divine support during the crucial moment of childbirth.
In a previous instance in May, a sizable group of motorcyclists in Santiago de Cuba assembled outside the San Juan Methodist Church to worship and praise God. Pastor Bermúdez spearheaded this initiative, blessing all the vehicles parked along the street in front of the church, while a member of the congregation anointed the motorcycles.
