A visual artist known on TikTok as "Turkoart" has captivated fans of the late reggaeton sensation El Taiger by sharing a mesmerizing pencil portrait of the artist. In a video posted on the social media platform, Turkoart showcased the entire creation process, from the initial sketch to the completed drawing.
The breathtaking result has sparked over 1,100 comments, with admirers praising the artist's talent while also expressing sorrow over El Taiger's passing. The beloved reggaeton artist tragically died on October 10 after a week in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Artistic Tributes Pour In
Numerous artworks inspired by El Taiger have emerged in recent days. While he was still hospitalized, Cuban painter Richard Somonte, who has been residing in Spain for the past five years, created a piece in honor of the popular musician as a gesture of admiration and support.
Adding to the tributes, visual artist Arley Valdés recently painted a mural in the Marianao neighborhood of Havana. Positioned at the intersection of 51st and 88th streets, the mural features El Taiger's likeness in a poignant pose, inspired by a photograph where the singer appears to be removing his headphones, a gesture that can be seen as a farewell.
