In Santiago de Cuba, a desperate mother is reaching out through social media to find her children's stolen carriage, which vanished this past Saturday. Sucel Inés, the mother of the young children, took to Facebook to share her distress, posting a heartfelt message along with a photo of her visibly upset kids. The theft occurred in the San Gerónimo area, and she urged the community to assist in locating the carriage.

"Residents of Santiago, today in San Gerónimo, my babies' carriage was stolen. I'm sharing this photo with my children so you can see the harm done to them. Please, if anyone sees it, contact me or notify the police. They've stolen my children's carriage!" pleaded the distressed mother.

The stolen carriage, as described by Sucel, features a lock that makes it particularly difficult to open or close, which could impede its use. "Please help me. It's hard to open because of the lock, and it's also difficult to close," she added, calling for the community's support.

Her heartfelt message concluded with a desperate plea, "Please be aware."

The Economic Struggles of Parenthood in Cuba

Raising children in Cuba poses significant financial challenges, from purchasing clothing to providing food, which makes this mother's urgent appeal for her stolen carriage all the more understandable.

Amid the severe economic crisis that plagues the Cuban population, there are still individuals with commendable human values who perform acts of genuine honesty. Recently, a mother expressed her gratitude on social media for a young man who exemplified altruism and integrity by returning a tablet her son had lost at a bus stop on Vial Colón in Pinar del Río.

Yamile Cruz praised a young man named Yosniel in the Facebook group “TODO - PINAR,” describing him as "an excellent human being and father" for finding and returning the tablet her son misplaced on Sunday at Vial Colón.
