With his customary biting and sarcastic tone, Alexander Otaola, the well-known host, addressed the passing of reggaeton artist José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, better known as El Taiger. From his show, Otaola extended his condolences to those who genuinely cared for the singer, offering them strength and peace.
"And much light for him, so he may find the illumination he missed here on Earth, to learn the true mission for which he came, and hopefully, as a spirit, he'll find all the light and guidance necessary to embark on a spiritual path that grants him the peace he couldn't achieve here," Otaola stated.
"I was not a friend of El Taiger; he passed, and I never was his friend, nor did I ever wish to be. But I'm certain I'm more honest than those of you who now claim to cry for him," he emphasized.
Otaola's Controversial Remarks
During his show last Thursday, Otaola took a few minutes to discuss the case of the reggaeton star, who died a week after being shot in the head. The influencer has faced significant backlash for mocking the fans of the late artist.
"Everyone places him in heaven, forgetting about the existence of both realms, heaven and hell. Right now, he must be in limbo, and the final judgment will determine where that soul should go," he expressed with a hint of irony.
A Final Tribute in Cuba
He further highlighted that El Taiger's remains should be sent back to Cuba and that his reggaeton friends should gather funds to honor him on the Island. "There, where he wanted to be," Otaola reiterated.
