The impending arrival of Hurricane Milton on Florida's shores has led to widespread chaos on the state's roads, with hundreds of thousands of residents scrambling for safety. Adding to the bewilderment of locals, Miami-Dade County has witnessed a tornado, as evidenced by social media reports showing images and videos of this atmospheric disruption overtaking roadways, further alarming those on the move.

Meanwhile, Miami's National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado watch for South Florida, effective until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Heightened Tornado Alerts Amidst Hurricane Threat
"As we remain on Milton's northeastern side today, the risk of tornadoes persists. Ensure you have a way to receive alerts!" wrote the meteorological service on X, sharing a map that highlights the extensive area at risk of tornadoes throughout the day. "A tornado watch is issued when tornadoes are possible. A tornado warning is issued when a tornado is occurring or imminent," clarified the NWS.
