Yulien Oviedo is deeply affected by the tragic circumstances surrounding El Taiger, who is in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Since the news broke, the Cuban singer has been vocal about his sorrow and concern for his fellow musician's recovery. Upon arriving in the United States from Cuba, one of his immediate priorities was to visit the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where José Manuel Carvajal is receiving treatment.
From the airport, Yulien conveyed his determination: "José, my brother, I'm here for you. Today, you're going to open your eyes for me. You've kept me awake for 72 hours, but it hasn't been in vain because I've been praying for you. Stay strong, my brother." With these words, the Cuban artist shared his hopes for El Taiger's recovery and his intention to lend support directly at the hospital.
Upon landing, Oviedo took a moment to light a candle outside the hospital and pray for his friend's healing. "José Manuel Carvajal, I'm here. It's me, Yulien Oviedo, son of your same patron saints, San Lázaro and Yemayá. Heal your body and rise now. LBMA forever!" he declared in a video while praying outside the hospital.
In light of El Taiger's predicament, Yulien disclosed that just a day prior, the two had been exchanging voice messages via WhatsApp to arrange a future collaboration.
