Cuban singer Yotuel Romero recently shared a poignant message on his Facebook page, drawing attention to the eerie parallels between one of El Taiger's songs and the artist’s current predicament. El Taiger remains in critical condition in a Miami hospital after being shot.
Yotuel highlighted the lyrics of "El Sano," a track where El Taiger speaks about betrayal, deceit, and the importance of being aware of where the blows originate in order to rise again. "Unknowingly, 'El Sano' resonates now as a haunting echo of your reality, as though each verse mapped the path you would unknowingly tread," Yotuel reflected somberly. "A compatriot struck down a compatriot," he lamented.
He continued by emphasizing, "You warned of the betrayal by those closest to you, and now those words painfully forecast your fate. You sang of the anguish of being betrayed, the deceit, and the burdensome vices that shatter friendships. Today, it all rings as a prophecy."
Yotuel concluded with a hopeful note, "May God lay His hand upon you and lift you, as He did with Lazarus. Strength and faith, José."
