Immigration attorney Miguel Inda-Romero has stepped in to secure a humanitarian visa for the eldest daughter of Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, enabling her to travel from Havana to Miami. This urgent effort comes as her father remains in a critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

Inda-Romero has made it clear that, despite his disagreements with El Taiger's past choices, now is the time for compassion, not judgment. "I was contacted yesterday to assist El Taiger's daughter, who is in Cuba, with obtaining a humanitarian visa to visit her father," the attorney shared on Instagram. "I want to emphasize that while I disagree with El Taiger's views and actions, this is not the time for such judgments. Humanity comes first, and I will help this girl see her father because she is innocent in all this," he wrote, though the post was later removed for unknown reasons.

Prioritizing Compassion Over Criticism

Inda-Romero went on to stress the importance of setting aside personal opinions to focus on El Taiger's recovery. "We must pray for him and put aside any judgments. Failing to do so mirrors the behavior of those who have caused much harm. No one deserves what happened to El Taiger. Only God can judge us," the lawyer concluded.

The Instagram post's sudden removal remains unexplained, but it was also reported by Telemundo 51. In another now-unavailable Instagram story, Inda-Romero addressed critics: "Before criticizing me, understand that I do not agree with El Taiger's beliefs and actions. I wish for José Manuel Carbajal, the human being, to recover soon. This is a matter of humanity. I will help his daughter see her father. Only God can judge me, just as He will judge all the sick and political prisoners. Wishing harm upon someone fighting for their life is immoral."

Public Criticism and Support

The attorney's decision to assist in obtaining the visa has faced scrutiny and pressure, yet he remains committed to his cause. As of this report, no further details about the visa process have been confirmed.

José Manuel Carbajal, known as El Taiger, has three children in Cuba — two daughters and a son. He was discovered unconscious in the back seat of an abandoned car, just blocks away from Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is now in intensive care, relying on life support. Medical reports indicate the bullet impacted his forehead and traversed the right side of his brain, posing a severe risk to his health.

The artist's fans across the United States, Cuba, and beyond have rallied with heartfelt messages of support and hope. Cuban artists from diverse backgrounds and beliefs are uniting in advocating for his recovery. This widespread emotional outpouring, with thousands of Cubans taking to the streets in various provinces to pray, sing, or dance to El Taiger's music, has sparked debates. Some argue that Cuban political prisoners deserve even greater support and attention.
