Cuban singer Michael Sierra Miranda, known by his stage name El Micha, recently took to social media to share nostalgic photos with fellow artist El Taiger. This act of solidarity comes as El Taiger remains in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head last Thursday.
The photos, showcasing a youthful El Micha and El Taiger in Cuba alongside friends, highlight their long-standing friendship. In an emotional post, El Micha expressed his bewilderment at the situation, writing, "Damn, my brother, every day I understand less." He urged hope, saying, "Never lose hope, miracles happen every day." A touching image of El Taiger with El Micha’s son, Dylan, further illustrates their close bond.
Support from the Cuban Music Community
El Micha was among the Cuban artists who visited Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Thursday to check on El Taiger's condition after the shooting incident. "These things happen; we are here to support our brother," he stated to reporters upon arriving at the hospital.
Ana María Daniel, El Micha's wife, also showed her support by sharing a heartfelt message, "You are a warrior, fight, because you have much more to do here, your children and your fans need you," she encouraged.
El Taiger's Current Health Status
On Saturday night, a member of El Taiger's team, who had been by his side throughout the day, addressed the supporters gathered outside Jackson Memorial Hospital. She conveyed that although El Taiger is stable, he remains in a critical state. "I was with El Taiger all day today. He is stable, still in critical condition, but with God's grace, he will be with us soon. Please keep praying for him, it is all I ask from the bottom of my heart," she pleaded.
She added, "Positive vibes, he needs them now, and I am certain that the day he walks out of that hospital, he will be moved to tears knowing that all his fans are here to support him."
