Emotional Plea by Eduardo Antonio for El Taiger's Recovery

Saturday, October 5, 2024 by Samantha Mendoza

In a heartfelt moment, singer Eduardo Antonio visited a church and humbly knelt before a statue of Saint Jude Thaddeus, revered as the patron of lost causes, to seek intervention for the health of reggaeton artist El Taiger, who is currently in critical condition in Miami. "I am your son, Eduardo Antonio Jiménez. I come to you with fervent devotion, asking with all my heart that just as you saved me when I was gravely ill, you extend your hand, your mantle, to save El Taiger," expressed the Divo of Placetas, visibly moved.

"He is a young man, someone who still deserves to be on this earth. Help him overcome this challenge," he continued. "Help him conquer the obstacles he is facing. Remove from his path those with ill intentions and negative thoughts. I ask this in my name, for all the miracles you have granted me," concluded the artist.

A Community of Support

In the comments section of his post, Eduardo Antonio received numerous messages of gratitude from people who praised his gesture and joined in his hopes for the reggaeton star's recovery. However, some criticized him for recording his prayer and disagreed with the attire he wore for the occasion. "For those interested, I recorded this because I believe that if others join in praying for him, he will be saved in God's name. I am dressed this way because, after leaving the church, I was headed to record a special for international television. I do not want him to die. I want him to live," the singer clarified in the comments.

Ongoing Investigation

Previously, the Divo had shared another photo with El Taiger, asking for his own recovery. Meanwhile, the investigation into the incident where Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger was shot in the head is still underway. Speculation on social media has intensified following the emergence of images depicting a police operation at a residence in Hialeah. As of now, no arrests have been made, according to Univision journalist Daniel Benítez. The police continue to seek more information and individuals believed to have been with El Taiger before the tragic incident.
