The investigation surrounding the shooting of Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, who was shot in the head, is still ongoing. Recent images of a police operation at a residence in Hialeah have stirred speculation on social media.
This morning, journalist Daniel Benítez provided updates on his YouTube channel about the current status of the case: "We've been in contact with sources from both Miami and Hialeah police departments. As many of you know, a recent operation took place at a house in Hialeah. However, as of now, no arrests or detentions have been made in connection with the El Taiger case."
Benítez emphasized, "The investigation is active, and though a raid was conducted at the Hialeah residence linked to the case, no one has been apprehended. The authorities are still gathering information and seeking individuals who were with El Taiger in the hours leading up to the shooting."
Police Seek Community Assistance
According to Benítez, the operation targeted a person believed to have crucial information about the incident. "The police executed a search warrant at this specific Hialeah home to gather necessary evidence," he reported.
Benítez added that the individual's phone, associated with the house, is currently out of service and the person's whereabouts are unknown. "The police are appealing to the community for any information regarding this person's location," he said, clarifying that the individual was not present during the search.
As the investigation progresses, El Taiger remains in critical condition at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
