El Taiger's manager, Marcel Reinosa, revealed late Thursday that the reggaeton artist is in a critical condition, battling for his life after being shot in the head. In a conversation with Enrique Santos, Reinosa stated that "the official condition now is critical."
Reinosa explained the challenges in confirming El Taiger's condition with Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital: "After we verified with Jackson, they were hesitant to provide information as it was an attempted homicide, which is a very sensitive matter."
The Incident and Investigation
The car where the singer was found in the back seat belonged to his manager, leading to several hours of police questioning to clarify the situation. "At this point, no one has been able to see José," Reinosa informed. "He was shot in the front of the head, and the bullet exited through the right side, sparing the left side. Remarkably, the part of the brain responsible for recognition and memory remains unscathed. It's a miracle he's alive, fighting for his life right now."
Clearing Up Misconceptions
Reinosa dismissed rumors of a suicide attempt and confirmed it was not a shootout. He noted that the police are still investigating and have identified a person of interest, but details remain under wraps.
Medical Prognosis and Hope
Currently on life support, El Taiger's medical outlook remains uncertain. "The prognosis is to wait," Reinosa commented. "It's a waiting game at this moment, and while no one can predict the outcome, the last thing we lose is hope."
