Marianela Ancheta has been crowned Miss Universe Cuba this week, becoming the representative who will elevate Cuba’s name on the international stage at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, set to take place in Mexico City this coming November. After receiving her crown, the young woman representing the Central Region shared her overwhelming emotions with Telemundo.
"Oh my God, this is such an honor for me, I still can't believe it. Cuba will make history after 57 years. This is a new chapter for Cuban women, all those girls who look up to me, who grew up like I did, this is their moment," Marianela expressed.
A Voice for Cuba on a Global Platform
"Cuba will have a voice on such a significant platform like Miss Universe. I'm truly grateful to everyone who has supported me. This is a dream come true," the young woman affirmed.
Marianela Ancheta secured the title of Miss Universe Cuba after competing against 23 other contestants. At 31 years old, she hails from Villa Clara and, in addition to her modeling career and being the face of several brands, she is an entrepreneur and businesswoman with her own line of skincare products.
