The popular Cuban TikToker @kurly_la_peque has taken to social media to report the recurring theft of packages from her doorstep. Living in a condominium in Louisville, Kentucky, she never expected to face such an issue in a country where, according to her, "people don't have a need to steal."

"Honestly, I don't like making this kind of content... but I'm doing it because I'm not sure if others are experiencing the same thing," she explained in her video. Displaying footage from her security camera, @kurly_la_peque showed how someone arrives just 10 minutes after the delivery person leaves the package and takes it without any hesitation. "This isn't the first time, and I know it won't be the last. It's happened to me countless times," she confessed, visibly frustrated.

Impact on Her Online Career

The situation has grown so severe that she has had to cancel collaborations with stores on TikTok Shop since she can't test the products they send. "I work on social media... and my image is at stake," she stated.

Community Support and Suggestions

Her followers quickly responded with advice to prevent further thefts. "Have them delivered to lockers at gas stations... it's super safe there"; "Buy a large mailbox with keys so no one can take the packages," some suggested. Another follower urged, "You need to file a police report and give them the theft videos."

Other residents of Louisville confirmed that this is a common issue in the area. "I live in Louisville too, and our packages get stolen... it seems quite common here," one user commented.

Seeking a Permanent Solution

For now, @kurly_la_peque continues to search for a solution as she accumulates videos of her stolen packages. "I don't know if I should report this to the police... I just don't know what to do anymore," she concluded, seeking advice from her community.

Incidents like these are not uncommon on social media, where others residing in the United States have also voiced their frustrations over various issues. Recently, another Cuban influencer expressed her dismay over the lack of values and disloyal behavior of some individuals in her surroundings. In her case, she sent a clear message to those who take what isn't theirs: "That doesn't belong to you; it's not yours."
