A woman driving a Porsche SUV was rescued after being trapped for several hours between a tree and a parking garage in Miami. The Coral Gables Fire Department responded to the scene with fire trucks and cranes to successfully free the driver.
The woman was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, but she did not suffer any injuries. A video shared by NBC 6 shows a firefighter helping her out of the vehicle before she was transported by ambulance. The SUV was also removed from the site.
According to Telemundo, the incident occurred in the parking garage of the San Remo building located in the 1500 block of San Remo Avenue in Coral Gables.
Xavier Jones, Division Chief of the Coral Gables Fire Department, explained that the driver accidentally hit the accelerator, causing her to crash into the third-floor wall of the garage and into a tree.
