El Taiger is among the many who have reacted to the new musical collaboration between Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa titled "El Preso," dedicated to Cuban producer Boris Arencibia, who has been under arrest since the beginning of the year. The Cuban reggaeton artist confessed during a live stream, later echoed by Un Martí To Durako, that he enjoys the duo of the rapper and the Cuban composer. He also took the opportunity to share his thoughts on Tekashi and Boris.
"I love that duo. I really like Tekashi when he sings in Spanish because Daniel is a guy with a lot of heart. I dig him, I vibe with him. When Daniel sings in Spanish, you can really see what kind of person he is. Daniel has a criminal record, but he's got good feelings," said El Taiger with conviction.
Defending Boris Arencibia
The singer also defended Boris: "He’s always treated me well, like a good country guy. Every time I hear people talking about him negatively, I’m one of the first to jump in his defense because I've always seen him as a giver, never taking anything for himself. Whenever I saw him, he was always giving a lot, and I didn't care how he managed it or where it came from; that’s something to admire."
Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa released "El Preso" just days after images surfaced revealing the infidelity of Boris Arencibia's wife with Cuban baseball player Vladimir Gutiérrez.
